The iPi Group of Companies is modern, progressive and innovative multi-disciplined business house operating in varied industries that commenced from our founding companies and are now part of our national supply chain and logistics solutions network spanning Transport, Catering, Warehousing and Property across Papua New Guinea.
Our Growth has been self-sustaining and our long term involvement and participation in the Porgera mining operations has taught us much.
As we continue to develop, we want to give back to the communities that support us in a meaningful way. With a forward looking vision toward innovation, growth, sustainability and respect for our people and our community, our Tenkyu. initiative is an example of this commitment to our people our heritage our future

The iPi Group
While some communities in Papua New Guinea (PNG) have made progress in improving access to clean water and sanitation facilities, there is still much work to be done. Access to improved water in PNG has increased slightly since 1990 but access to sanitation facilities during the same period has declined slightly. Unless considerable improvements are made, PNG will miss the national targets identified in the government’s development strategic plan 2030 and the National Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) Policy[1].
Our Tenkyu initiative pronounced ‘Tenk Yu’ or Thank You in PNG’s local lingua franca - Tok Pisin, came about when The iPi Group wanted to create a sustainable revenue model that helped to support the development and empowerment of the communities in which we work. The iPi Group sought an innovative approach through the Tenkyu. initiative that would also allow our valued clients, partners and customers the added benefit of knowingly participating and contributing to meaningful Corporate Social Responsibility activities that empower all Papua New Guinean’s; this ultimately as a collective way of saying Thank You to the people of PNG.
